Pasta bake with broccoli

Method
1. In a small saucepan bring the milk, garlic and bay leaves to the boil, remove from heat and leave to infuse
2. Cook the pasta as per the packet instructions adding the broccoli for the final 2 minutes of cooking and then drain
3. Strain the milk into a jug
4. Heat the butter in a saucepan until it is foaming then add the flour stiring constantly for 1 min to create a paste. Then, a little at a time, add the milk continuing to stir or whisk constantly to avoid lumps. Once all the milk is added allow the mixture to bubble for 1-2 minutess while stirring constantly until you have a thick, lump-free sauce
5. Add some nutmeg, the mustard powder, parsley, 3/4 of the cheese and, seasoning to the sauce.
6. Combine the pasta and broccoli with the sauce and transfer to a large heatproof dish
7. Scatter over the remaining cheese and heat the grill to high and cook for 2-3 mins until golden and bubbling
